SO:  you've got your Star Wars Day May the 4th Costume sorted - what now?

You could sit at home gazing lustfully at pictures of Harrison Ford or Carrie Fischer from the 1970s original, or get out amongst it & showcase your fandom! 

Star Wars Ultimate Fan Weekend - If you're Sydney based, you simply can't miss this one!   Over the weekend of May 5 & 6 Sydney's Powerhouse Museum will transform into heaven for Star Wars fans!  Hone your skills with an augmented reality Jedi training session, jump in the cockpit of a life-sized x-wing fighter, lose the kids in the space themed playground - & plenty more!  With of course, the obligatory costume competition - you know where to come for that!  Want to avoid any kids?  There's an adults only sesh on the 5th from 7 - 10pm...  Click here for all ticktets.

 

Movie Marathon - check your local cinemas for special screenings - with many also running costume competitions for the die-hards.

Star Gazing:  Weather permitting, star-gazing would be an obvious choice.  Contact your local observatory or find a clear, high vantage point & pack your own romantic picnic.

Back to Harrison Ford for a moment (yes please) - did you know Han Solo is finally getting his own feature?  Solo - A Star Wars Story,  launches in cinemas in Australia May 24th.  Whilst Harrison isn't in it, we think you'll find sufficient cause to take a peek!
