The theme for 2023 is "Read, Grow, Inspire" - which pretty much gives you carte blanche to be anything. We've got fast shipping Australia-wide & if you're Sydney-based, look for the "Click & Collect" logo inside the product listings - this means you can order that product online & collect from our Crows Nest, Sydney store if you're in a hurry.

So what's Book Week all about then?
Every year since 1945, the Childrens Book Council of Australia (CBCA) has brought children & books together to foster a love of reading through the week long celebration of Book Week. For teachers, librarians, children & parents it's a full week of colourful displays, development activities, competitions, story-telling & yes - dressing up as your favourite book character!
Book Week is the second busiest time of year for costume shops (behind Halloween). In 2023, Book week is August 19-25 with the theme of "Read - Grow - Inspire".
