We have a single, full service bricks & mortar store in Crows Nest, Sydney for costume sales, costume hire & balloons, plus spread the costume love across the country with sales items shipping Australia-wide.
OUR MISSION is to encourage people – particularly adults – to PLAY more – to better connect with themselves & each other & make the world a happier place!
We opened in 1987 after 2 women in the costume department of TV’s “It’s a Knockout” were wondering what to do with a whole host of unforgiving lycra ensembles! Fast forward to 2011 & Deb & Liz passed the feather boa on to Belinda (that's me!) - a corporate escapee actively looking for a way to smooth the spikey bits off modern adulthood, encourage people to be unapologetically, authentically themselves & spread fun & laughter whilst doing so.
Since taking the reigns in 2011, along with my team we've tripled the size of the business, relocated to premises 2.5x larger, survived two pandemic lockdowns (as an event-dependent business, no less!) & seen countless crazy customers become friends. Lockdown afforded us the time to complete a much needed digital overhaul & we're now more excited than ever to be keeping the magic of costuming - & the strength & community of local small business - alive.
